Avatar is Nice

‘Wow! New fan!’ exclaimed my course mate who had his room’s fan renewed because the old one has broken down.

Everyone was being happy too. The boring and tedious classes of lectures had eventually come to an end.

Not wanting to lose to the new-fan-guy, I also exclaimed loudly before I entered my room: ‘Wow! New Lamborghini!’

Everyone else was laughing away. Perhaps the joke was indeed funny.

I returned to my room with a fatigue and exhausted body in the evening, initially planned to finish the fluid’s assignments all by tonight before I went for my dinner.

Everything was being ruined by an unexpected event.

I opened my door, with its usual harsh clicking sound. The door opened only ajar when I smelled something nice inside my room.

The smell intrigued me; it smelled like something very comfortable to be sniffed in, smelled like French Fries.

‘What smells so nice?’ I asked my roommate, with curiosity.

‘Really?’ my friend replied with a face as-if-I-care.

Suddenly he sensed something went wrong.

‘What happened to my things? All messed around?!’

I was checking my things at that moment, when I discovered my banana has been eaten almost 1 full piece.

‘Maybe there is a theft?! Go and check your things, see whether got anything lost or not.’ He said anxiously.

‘Okay....’

Initially we suspected there was a theft, but nothing was missing. Then suddenly we saw something which was brown in colour, almost everywhere, under my bed, on my desk, my shirts!

And it smelled like French Fries Banana.

‘Oh my God! There are poops on my bed!!’ I shouted so loudly.

Unfortunately my friend was not being lucky too. He had some unknown disgusting fluid around his study desk.

We were so angry at that time, thinking it might be a squirrel; because there were a lot of squirrels in and out our hostel, sneaked into people’s room and ate without permission.

After the forensic came, which was Auntie the cleaner, and checked, it was confirmed it was a squirrel’s doing.

Case solved, file closed.

First time I have an experience like this, it is bad, and I do not want this to happen, ever again, never.

My Future Destination

Lately I have been coming to Singapore very frequently. I found that actually I love this place very much. Clean, hygienic, systematic, good transport system, good people. These are the few good impressions I have about Singapore.

Will I be basing in this country 4 years later? Why not? I asked myself. This is a good place for young, energetic dream chaser. This is a place suitable for people who has much devotion towards working, towards competitive life. This is a place of materialistic, a place full of skyscrapers and concrete jungles, a place full of artificial nature and of course, a place full of people. Singapore is the second most densely populated country in the world after Monaco.

The only question is, am I willing to live my life in a cage-like apartment for the rest of my life? No backyards for me to keep my huge Rottweiler or German Shepherd ( not to say having a large yard for them to strain their leg muscles ), no front car park to park my Off-Roader and Saloon. No private workshop for me to fix and modify my own machines. All I have will be a small apartment, with high speed Internet access, a large LCD screen or plasma TV, a set of comfortable sofa, a small to medium size kitchen, and perhaps also a renowned brand massage chair. That is all, inside an apartment. Nothing more.

It is actually quite ironic to what I have wanted before I come here. Before that, I wish to live in a large house near the country side, getting a stable job and a family, 2 cars ( 1 Off-Roader and 1 Saloon ), 1 to 2 huge dogs and a large piece of land for me to plant any vegetables and fruits I love to eat. It is also for the sake of my parents as they love gardening very much.

Living in the country side in Singapore seems utterly absurd as there is no country side in that country at all. Ironic right? It is two totally different things, and I love them both, equally.

Sometimes I dream of speeding a Chevrolet Camaro on the smooth highway in the city of Singapore, and sometimes I dream of venturing in the jungle, savouring the wonder of nature inside a turbo Off-Roader.

A typical pisces I am. Dreaming is not something which is wrong, eh?

Fortunately I do not have to make any decision now. 4 years is still a long way to go. I only have to concentrate on my study at the moment.

Another concern, when will I meet my future soul partner? Her decision means a lot to me too, and it might greatly change my thoughts. Who knows, love always come first.

Sunday's Routine in Campus

Second of August, Sunny .

Woke up at 7.27 in the morning, whole body suffered drastic pain due to over-training on wushu yesterday.

After brushed my teeth and did a bit of clean up, my friends and I walked together to the sport complex, intended to reserve a court to play badminton in the afternoon but to no avail. We can just hope for our luck in the afternoon so that we will have a court to play our game.

Life in campus is just about walk and walk and walk. We walked to the McD near our campus to have our breakfast which cost around RM8 ( a burger, a cup of Milo and a piece of fish-fillet ). Astounded. Once in a while though. At least we don't have to eat spicy, hot and coarse rice in the morning, or "Roti Canai" which turns off my appetites. I could not feel anymore fed up.

The air outside the campus was very polluted. Only when I were outside the campus I could feel the goods about my campus. The roads were under constructions, dirts and sands were everywhere. The traffic was hectic, untidy, and risky. I would describe my campus as a sanctuary, peaceful and tranquil, in contrast to the city outside.

I am currently sitting in the library, blogging and doing calculus at the same time. Test 1 is just 5 days away, and my engine is just partially heat up. However, things are under expectation, as planned. For sure, I will not fail myself.

Frankly, it is very hard to get artistic, romantic and emotional in the Uni, especially in the engineering course. Most of the time, we are dealing with numbers, diagrams, figures, theories and exercises. Lesser time to blog, and fewer chance to think of beautiful phrases and read some fantasy and love story books. Life is so busy that we do not have the time to rest, or at least, get 5 seconds to realize that we are actually breathing. If you do, I can assure you that is a rare case. Other than hostel chores, assignments, revisions and meetings, we still have a lot of affairs to due with, such as love affair, friendship affairs and so on. It is not that we crave for it, but its existence is something we cannot control. When it comes, it comes. No reasons.

Well, to conclude, I love my lifestyle now. It does not mean I already forgot my hometown. I am just adapted to this new life already. I am always happy to go back to where I come from. So, my family, please do not worry.

Talking about H1N1. Scary. In this 2 weeks, most of the Campus in West Malaysia has been shut down 1 by 1. From north to south, UUM, USM engineering campus, UTP, UKM medical campus, UPM, UTeM, and UiTm. Red Alert has been activated. In this circumstances, we cannot protect ourselves even we take good care of our hygiene and avoid crowds, especially in a campus, whenever you go, there will be crowds. This is the reason those Uni are shut down. We can just pray.

UTM, according to my friend, so far has 2 cases already. The information remains classified by the Uni. Reasons unknown. Perhaps they don't want us to get on our nerves. But the statement which claims that our campus will be shut down anytime remains a fact. It is just a matter of time. So, speechless.

I don't wish the school to be closed, for I already buy my tickets for the year end holidays. Any replacement for the classes will greatly affect my plan, and waste my money. Oh! Buddha, please let UTM be safe.

1333. Time to turn off my LG E310. Time to study.
