When I was a kid, I used to sit in my father's car at night and looking out at the moon. With childlike curiosity, I asked my dad: "Daddy daddy, why is the moon in the sky keep following us wherever we go?"
That time, my dream was to become an astronaut who could travel into the outer space.
Thinking back, it was a silly question I asked and that at my age right now, we do not even bother why is the moon still following us, do we? I wonder why is it that our curiosity fades so fast... Any of you have the answer?
Okay, the moon is not the protagonist for today, it is the stars. The stars, which surround the moon in the night sky; the stars, which are glowing and giving the ray from so many thousands of light years away from the mother earth; the stars, which occupy the whole sky when the night veils in.
Whenever I look up in the night sky, I see the stars, not the moon. I am very fond of the stars because they are actually suns from a place far far away from the mother earth, and that they glow very brightly. The moon, however, is just a huge light reflector staying near the earth.
It is not that I am biased about the moon, I just prefer the stars. Night sky is so comfortable with stars around. Whenever I lay on the grass land enjoying the night sky, I think a lot, think about their glows, we can so comfortably watching it without hurting our eyes even though it is glowing as strong as our sun.
Distance has made the stars a perfect company for me in the night.
Throughout the 22 years I lived, I dreamed a lot, and the dreams I dreamed were so many in varieties.
When I was a kid I dreamed of becoming an astronaut.
When I am older, I dreamed of becoming a doctor, an engineer, a pilot, a businessman and a house husband. (Oh my God! What is with the house husband?!) Okay, that was a joke.
When I watched Hong Kong drama, I dreamed of becoming a fireman, a policeman, an Interpol, a teacher, a soldier and a taxi driver. Okay, again, taxi driver was a joke.
When I watched Hollywood movie, I dreamed of becoming a superstar, a spy, an ultimate explorer or some other infinite cool and fancy jobs.
When I watched American Idol or Taiwanese 'Xing Guang', I dreamed of becoming like one of them, glowing on the stage, attracting the eyes of millions of people from all over the world, like a star, the super star.
And this is the reason I am very fond of the stars.
I wonder why I never dreamed of becoming a president of my country. Perhaps I should start thinking and dreaming about it.
2 more years and I will be graduating from the University. I dream of my future. I want to find a good company in a modern metropolis to work as a professional engineer and get a high pay. I want to travel all around the world before I settle down and build up my own family. I want to have a business of my own at the age of 35. I want to...
So many of the words 'I want to...'. When will us as a human being become satisfactory with all that we have? Greed is bad, and greed is good. Remember, our advanced civilization today is achieved by the greediness of our past ancestors.
When you gaze into the night sky for the stars, sometimes, you will see the shooting stars.
So, friends, keep on dreaming. Life is full of chances and possibilities!

Shanghai, Hangzhou

I love this trip totally, it is one of the unforgettable trip I ever had in my life, really!
The food is nice. Despite its tastelessness, I did not lose my appetite. Among all the food, 'xiao long bao' in Shanghai and 'tong po rou' in Hangzhou are the most memorable. I miss these 2 food very much!

About the expo, it was great! Not only could we learn new technologies from various countries in the world, we were also exposed to their cultural and people. Different species of homosapiens have different significance both physically and mentally.
Expo in Shanghai has its pros and cons. One of the pros is that we can actually witness the drastic development of PRC(people's republic of China) since its open economy in year 1990. As the host of Expo Shanghai 2010, China has proven its power and status in the eyes of the world.
I am not complimenting China, they are just doing good.
The cons are, shameful to say, but the people especially the old people in China are not civilized at all! Quarrels, smoking, eating, spitting and throwing rubbishes anywhere are just common things. They will not queue for buses or trains. They will not wait until you get down before they get on to it. They are being ignorance towards traffic lights. How sad. When they knock you, they will not apologize, and we do not have to be mad about this, because they do not care.
Well, China has 1.3 billion people. We cannot expect they apologize to each and every person they accidentally step their foot on, can we? That will be too many people to apologize to. Think positively.
Alright, let's stop complaining about them. At least they will not speak foul languages when they quarrel, not like us. They are just shouting out their opinion loudly. Funny.
I have been lucky because I managed to get into a lot of prominent pavilions. China, France, Denmark, Switzerland, Netherlands, Australia, Austria and several other countries' pavilions. Of course, I went to Malaysia pavilion too.
There is nothing inspiring to see inside Malaysia Pavilion, honestly. Maybe it is because I am a Malaysian and I know it all already. The cultural and the local products.
After 3 days in Shanghai Expo, we went to Hangzhou.
Hangzhou is a nice place, contrasting to the huge Shanghai Metropolis. Hangzhou has a lot of trees and water. It is renowned for its largest fresh water lake, XiHu.
My tourist guide said Hangzhou girls are mostly pretty and tall. However, I found it the other way. Most of them have thick make up, which is obviously not my cup of tea.
Yes, talking about tea, Green Tea, otherwise known as Long Jin Tea in Hangzhou is my favorite tea. Its natural anti-oxidation property make it even better and healthier for our body. I want to buy, but I do not have enough money. Grade A green tea costs renminbi600 per package, totally a huge number for me.
People say in order to have a happy vacation, we must go with the right person. This apply perfectly on me. The happy9, or the energetic9 gang, whatever they call it, make my trip even more happier and lively. I love to stay around everyone of them!

Mother Earth Day
Today is 22nd April. It is our mother earth day.
I wonder how many people in this world is aware of this.
We are living in the 21st century. The first world country is continuing to be richer, and the third world country is also developing drastically. Trees were cut in a large scale to be urbanized; rivers and seas were polluted by the industries; the concentration of Carbon Dioxide in the air is in fact, in the rise.
I wonder how many people in this world is aware of this.
People are too obsessed with their current jobs, obsessed by materials, continuing to pursue after virtual fashions, advanced electronic gadgets. In the process of pursuing these materialistic stuffs, a lot of still usable items are being treated as rubbishes. Nike, Adidas, Gucci bags and ETC which are considered obsolete are being thrown away. There are a lot of people in this world living in the conditions without even have a shoe to wear.
I wonder how many people in this world is aware of this.
People eat, and people throw rubbishes. They don't use reusable containers, say a lot more convenient, save time, higher efficiency during working time because just eat and throw. Polystyrene and plastic bags are the main source of our rubbishes content because they are the hardest thing to deteriorate under the earth. Each big city produce at least a tonne of rubbishes a day. The management of rubbishes is so costly and inconvenient. People are just too lazy to separate the reusable items and rubbishes away. They are actually wasting human energy and natural resource energy.
I wonder how many people in this world is aware of this.
28th March every year, the men-in-power all over the world are encouraging people to switch off lights for 1 hour, from 8.30pm to 9.30pm. I wonder how many people in this world is aware of its uselessness. Times goes on, homo-sapience are evolving from a diurnal species into nocturnal species. They don't sleep at night. They sleep in the morning. For them night time is the best time to study, to work, to do exercise because night time will give them most spirit and energy. However, in fact, the whole night they switch on the light, how many energy are they wasting throughout 1 year? 1 decade? I century? 1 generation? 28th March every year is just another soundly but action less activity. Continuing to support it is just nonsense. In fact, we should always practise good sleeping habit, sleep at night, and wake up in the morning and do anything. Sun is the source of energy for all the living things on the mother earth. Please don't waste this sole and most important energy we have.
I wonder how many people in this world is aware of this, and listen to my advice.
Earthquakes, floods and tsunami are everywhere, everyday in the news. Earthquake in Haidi caused 200,000 dead and destructed almost 100% of the city; Sichuan and Qinghai in China are not better. Tsunami in Achech a few years back was a gruesome memory for a lot of people. These are a few famous natural disasters in my memory.
I think everyone in this world is aware of this.
What is the sign of it? The end of the world? Or just that I have think too much? I have been pessimistic. I hope so.
According to the prophet from don't-know-where, Prime Minister for our beloved country Malaysia is named after RAHMAN, namely : Tunku Abdul Rahman, Tun Abdul Razak, Tun Hussien Onn, Tun Dr Mahathir, Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, and finally Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak who is currently on the throne. What is next? Malaysia will become a republic country? Or the fact is that after Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, 2012 is approaching, the end of the world is approaching?
Wouldn't a greener planet and a clearer sky a better place to live in? Pandora is the most ideal planet I ever knew. Even though it is virtual, inside a movie.
This movie-trailer shows how our lovely mother earth evolved from the virgin beauty into an awful one in the hand of humanity.
Please don't be too pessimistic. This is just written to awaken the sleeping one. Please become an environmentalist. Save our world, protect our mother earth and make it a better place to live in.
